Your fee – I did a lot of work for this trip but that is the way I like to plan a trip. You made sure I was headed in the right direction and gave me some great advice. It's a huge country, so your help in narrowing down the possibilities of where to go and what to see and focusing us were really essential. I think we would have been quite a bit more scattered in our approach had we done it ourselves, and we probably would have missed some really great things. Of course, we had guide books. I think the first thing everybody does is go out and buy one or two, but having someone to consult with who knows the country was really a big help. It was my first ever visit to Australia and without your help I would not have been able to plan for such an interesting trip. I liked all towns/places you had scheduled in my itinerary. Deepest impressions I had from Sydney, Katoomba, Hunter Valley, Byron Bay and Brisbane. Motoring about 2000 km on different kinds of roads was an enjoyment as such and gave me a possibility to see beautiful countryside, endless forests, mountains with most different shapes, big rivers, steep seaside cliffs, etc... Driving left side of the road was easier than I thought, even in big cities, thanks to friendly driving culture of the people. I would like to visit Australia again after 2 or 3 years to see new places again, maybe southern Australia. And we were really lucky with the weather - hardly a gloomy day, and only a few spots of rain - or did you fix that for us too?!? Our judgement was right to prioritise wildlife & opportunities to see, feed, touch, etc. The kids' favourite parts were: Australia Zoo - we went with friends on our first Friday, outside of school holidays, and it was lovely & quiet, and the kids loved being able to feed the kangaroos & the elephants, stroke the koalas, and follow the lizards around , Benbellen Farmstay - again the kids were in their elements feeding the alpacas, geese, hens, following Soccie (the dog) around - and loved exploring & paddling in the creek just down the hill , Dolphin spotting in Port Stephens and the Seaplane in Sydney - 30 mins from Rose Bay up to Palm Beach, back over Middle Harbour and to the Opera House and Harbour Bridge. We felt we got good value from your consultancy fee. You saved us $'00s on our flights from Shanghai compared to what we'd found online and via local travel agents. Your initial sample itinerary was really good, additional options spot on, and advice on & booking of tours much appreciated. Can't think of anything else you could do for clients in the future.
