Australia’s Flagship City…

Sydney, with its dazzling harbour, Sydney Harbour Bridge and Opera House, is probably the best known city in Australia. It offers the very best of the Australian lifestyle – from the natural beauty of its harbour to the action of its urban surf coast shoreline. Take a ferry trip across the harbour to Manly, soak up the sun on the famous Bondi Beach or explore the shops among the restored colonial buildings at the Rocks. For children, there’s Taronga Zoo, Luna Park, the Aquarium and Fox Studios.

Located within 2 hour’s drive from Sydney are the Blue Mountains. This World Heritage listed region offers a natural wonderland of untamed bush, spectacular rock formations and native wildlife. There are activities for all the family from high adventure abseiling, mountain biking or horse riding, as well as bush walking down to a gentle stroll through pristine scenery. For the less athletic, there are also picturesque towns with art and antique galleries in which to browse.

An easy 2 hour drive north of Sydney is the Hunter Valley – great wineries, gourmet food, superb restaurants and romantic beachside retreats. There are over 100 cellar doors to visit, as well as much to explore or simply enjoy a relax in a day spa!

Combine Sydney with trips to country NSW and allow 5-7 days. Sydney can be reached via a direct flight from Shanghai, Beijing, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Hong Kong and all major Australian cities.
